• Receipt images uploaded by users
• Purchase item details

Uploaded Content

Users may upload receipt images to the platform. These images are stored securely and privately.

Browser Information

We may collect limited browser-related information such as the type of browser used (e.g., Safari or Chrome) to ensure compatibility and performance.

Kipkip does not collect IP addresses or detailed device information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and operate the Kipkip service
• Analyze receipts and extract spending information
• Generate spending insights and financial summaries

4. Receipt Processing and AI Services

Receipt images uploaded by users are processed using the following technologies:

• OCR processing using Tesseract.js
• AI-based structuring and validation using DeepSeek APIs

Only receipt text data is sent to AI services for processing. User identity information is not included in these requests.

5. Data Storage

User data is stored using cloud infrastructure provided by Cloudflare:

• Cloudflare Workers for backend services
• Cloudflare D1 for database storage
• Cloudflare R2 for secure storage of uploaded receipt images

Receipt images stored in R2 are private and not publicly accessible.

6. Payments

Kipkip may offer paid subscription features. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Kipkip does not store or have access to your credit card or payment information.

7. Third-Party Services

Kipkip relies on several third-party services to operate the platform:

• Cloudflare (Workers, D1, R2)
• Stripe (payment processing)
• DeepSeek (AI processing)

Kipkip uses an internally built analytics system to understand how the application is used and to improve product performance. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

9. Data Retention

We retain user data for as long as your account remains active. If there is no activity in the account for a period of one (1) year, the account and all associated user data may be deleted.

Users may choose to delete their account and associated data at any time:

• Their account
• Uploaded receipts

Upon account deletion, associated user data will be removed from our systems within a reasonable timeframe.

10. Children's Privacy

Kipkip is not intended for children under the age of 13. The service is designed for adults and working individuals who want to manage their spending.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
